Join Us At Windermere Preparatory School For A Magical Day Of Learning

EdcampMagic has grown out of a love for edcamps and the innovation and creativity of Walt Disney. Our plan, simply put, is to have an AMAZING time making connections with educators in one of the most magical places on Earth. We would love to have you join us at Windermere Preparatory School on June 10th, 2017!

Edcamp 101

As you prepare to attend EdcampMagic, please keep in mind that Edcamps are a different kind of professional development, an UNconference where YOU are in charge of your learning. Topics for sessions will be determined by the participants organically, at the beginning of the day. Sessions may be facilitated by anyone. Conversation and collaboration are a vital part of any edcamp experience, so we encourage participants with experience to speak up during sessions. The learning at Edcamps is driven by open dialogue and a willingness to share, not planned presentations.

Become familiar with the Rule of Two Feet. If you find yourself in a session which isn’t giving you what you need, exercise the Rule of Two Feet. Walking out of an Edcamp session is simply saying, I need something different. No one will judge you. This is YOUR day of learning and it is perfectly okay to be selfish. Find a conversation that will benefit you and ultimately your students. After all, that is why you are giving up your Saturday.

We believe, whether it’s your 50th edcamp, or your first, everyone has something to offer. Join the conversation and experience the magic! We are excited to learn with you!
